Akram Alshawabkeh is a George A. Snell Professor of Engineering and University Distinguished Professor, Director of the PROTECT SRP Center, and Senior Associate Dean for Global Engineering Campus for the College of Engineering at Northeastern University.
Professor Alshawabkeh’s research interests include geo-environmental engineering, soil and groundwater remediation, electro kinetic and electrotechnical processes, contaminant fate and transport environmental restoration, and environmental health.
