Akram Alshawabkeh is a George A. Snell Professor of Engineering and University Distinguished Professor, Director of the PROTECT SRP Center, and a Northeastern University Senior Vice Provost.
Professor Alshawabkeh’s research interests include geo-environmental engineering, soil and groundwater remediation, electro kinetic and electrotechnical processes, contaminant fate and transport environmental restoration, and environmental health.
