On August 16-20th, PROTECT Project 5 researchers attended the Innovation from Discovery to Application conference in Boston, a national meeting organized by American Chemical Society. The conference brought together chemical engineering experts to hold a special session dedicated to new electrochemical technologies that remove contaminants of concern from groundwater and soil.

During the poster session, PhD candidates Roya Nazari and Noushin Fallahpour and Associate Research Scientist Ljiljana Rajic presented application possibilities for the electrochemical technologies developed by Project 5, as well as the challenges and goals for future investigations.
